Agang Sechaba Trust (“AST”) is a registered NPO that was founded in 2008. It focuses on funding predominantly youth from siblings headed households at tertiary institutions.
Over and above this, the AST does other community development work, which includes providing psychosocial programs (mentoring the youth, facilitating the adoption of the YHH families by philanthropists and friends of AST, facilitating year end Xmas parties’ donation in kind for siblings living in YHH and other charitable deeds to enable children primarily from youth headed households, orphanages and other children challenged by circumstances to live a fully realized life.
Agang Sechaba was cofounded by professional women whose passion in empowering others who are less privileged, propelled them to do something. Their choice of intervention was in community development, which takes place by partnering with local schools in the communities of choice. We are driven by a commitment to improve the lives of children we encounter.
The Agang Sechaba six-member Board of directors, is responsible for setting a strategic direction for AST.
Donate to provide tertiary educational opportunities for the youth who come from predominantly Youth headed Households and other underprivileged children.
